The beginning process for this piece included picking an Opera, creating a mood board for said opera, and composing 48 rough, graphic sketches of the opera. These sketches were narrowed down to 3, made into 3 roughs. One collage, one illustrative, and one graphic. One of these was picked and turned into a first finish. After critiquing, the illustrative piece that was picked was refined and tweaked until it reflected the final product below.
